Volunteer with us

At Furry Ears Rescue, we are 100% volunteers-run so volunteers are at the heart of everything we do - and there are many ways to get involved.

Much of our work is supported by volunteers who help behind the scenes, from fundraising and admin to home-checks that ensure our cats are placed in safe, loving homes. We also rely on transport volunteers to deliver food to foster homes, take cats to vet appointments, and assist with rescue work when needed. For those who enjoy being hands-on, there are also opportunities to volunteer in person at Java Whiskers Cat Café, helping to socialise cats to cleaning litter trays. Every role, big or small, helps give our cats the love, safety and second chances they deserve.
